Yay I'm an Aunt! Weston Phillip Oberg is here!!!

Weston Phillip Oberg was born Thursday April 15th @ 8:55pm he weighed 6lbs. 2oz. 17in. long! We call him little Widget! He is a very good baby!

I think he has Phil's nose Sarah's chin and his mouth hasn't been really decided yet! Maybe just a mix!

He was a little jaundice, so he was put under the light for a little bit.

Cracker Candy

So I thought I would post a yummy recipe that and old woman from work gave me after bringing in this delicious treat to work a few times! Its called cracker candy and I made it today for the first time with success! Here's what you need... I used a 13 by 18 in. pan which was quite large, but I wanted to share with a lot of people. So this is the amount you need for that, if you want to make less you can do the math ;)

*1 cup of Butter, it has to be real butter
*1 cup of brown sugar
*1 bag of Nestle Chocolate Chips
*1 can of salted roasted almonds
*1 1/2 bags of Saltine Crackers

*Spray pan with Pam
*cover the bottom of pan with crackers
*chop up the almonds
* 350 degrees on oven
*Put butter and brown sugar in sauce pan, boil for 3 mins. while constantly stirring
*Poor immediately over crackers
*Put in oven for 7 mins.
*Sprinkle chocolate chips right when its taken out, then as they melt spread the chocolate out (probably not going to use the whole bag, its just a thin layer)
*Then sprinkle almonds on top
* Put in refrigerator for 1 hour so it hardens, then cut :)

Fallon, Friends, and Babies!

Last weekend I went home to Fallon. My best friend CaTina put together a Girls Night for all of us girlfriends at Pizza Barn. Most of my friends have babies, and they have all had girls, so the babies were part of the girls night as well! I had so much fun and I realized how much I miss them! I hope its not too long before I go back for my next visit, especially since these babies seem too be growing so fast!

4th of July Fun!

My roommates Carissa and Kiri, and I watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks from the Provo High School football field. It was a good view! The bummer part is that the dumb Provo cheerleaders made us pay $10 to park! Though I would like to support my fellow cheerleaders $10 come on! Sophie was so cute! She was going up to all the kids and running around she had lots of fun! It was a pretty good 4th of July!

Softball

This spring I was on my companies softball team, Dialogue Marketing. We haven't won a game yet! ha ha Our tournament and final game is this Friday, everyone is automatically in the tournament! We are playing another team that hasn't won any games either. Wish us luck that we can at least win one game this season! :) Oh and Sarah and Phil took these pics. you can see they has fun with the camera too, taking pics. of themselves and Sophie! hah

Sarah and Phil's Wedding 6/5/09

Well it's official! My sister is a married woman! I can't believe it, I am so happy for her! She is now Mrs Phillip Oberg. Her and Phil were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti temple, which is such a gorgeous temple! I was sad for her, because she was really hoping it wouldn't rain and it didn't but the wind was horrible, as you can tell in some of these pictures. It was seriously like a tornadoe up there. So we are a little worried on how her professional pictures are going to turn out! But other than that it was a great day! Late in to the evening they did a ring ceremony before the reception since my parents and I and a few other family members were not able to go in to the temple, it was really nice as well. And Sarah did a great job with decorations at the reception! I was way tired and ahd blisters by the end of the night haha, but it was way worth it to see my sister so happy! They are off on their honeymoon now, they went to Park City last night, then they are heading down to Vegas, then over to California and going to Disneyland, Seaworld, the zoo, and a few other places!

Taylor Swift Concert!!!

I went to the Taylor Swift Concert on May 26th in Salt Lake with my sister Sarah and her friend Kiri. Taylor Swift is such an awesome artist, and she is so personable, after singing a few songs she suprised the crowd and ended up in the stands with us singing a few more songs. People were freaking out, especially this one guy, I wish I caught it on tape! She hugged people and signed some autographs as she was making her way back to the main stage. She came out in a Jazz shirt at one point, how cute is she! And had fake rain pooring on her at the end of "Should've Said No". She made the whole night really fun! I missed the opening act, Gloriana because I was waiting in line to get a T- Shirt and people were cutting and stuff so the line wasn't really moving and I was there forever, and then they said they ran out of my size so I didnt even get a shirt :( and Kelly Pickler was supposed to perform but she was sick, which was another bummer! But all in all it was a great concert because of Taylor! ♥

Sarah's girlfriends and I threw her a bachelorette party this Saturday! It was way fun! Her are some pics! She wore the crazy stuff on a questionaire game, seeing if her and Phil had the same answers. If she got it right she got to take something off! Then there was the broom stick into the toilet paper roll game haha that was fun! She got a lot of interesting gifts... and loved her cake and so did Phil after the party haha.

I finally got myself a blogspot! I have been hesitating on getting one for a while now, because it looked like everyone who had one was married or had kids they could talk about. And my life isn't that exciting, but I want to keep up with friends on here. And maybe occasionally I will have something up that interests you! haha. I am at home sick today! I have been sick the past couple of days... everyone keeps joking saying, oh do you have swine flu, haha no I don't have swine flu!
